HEATSHIELD® COOLPRO-PUW is a high-performance, water-borne PU heat reflective roof paint/coat designed for both metal and concrete surfaces. Engineered using advanced polyurethane resins and proprietary chemistries, this coating delivers exceptional solar reflectivity, superior durability, and long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
When applied to roofing substrates, COOLPRO-PUW reflects a large percentage of sunlight, significantly reducing surface temperatures and helping prevent heat build-up—especially during peak daytime hours. Its formulation provides excellent resistance to dirt pick-up and ensures strong adhesion to a wide range of surfaces.

HEATSHIELD® COOLPRO-PUW can be applied over a wide variety of roofing substrates—including asbestos sheets, galvanized steel, asphalt shingles, and cured concrete—when used with a suitable primer.
 
Advanced Insulation with Endothermic Cooling
Unlike traditional mass insulation systems that only delay heat conduction, HEATSHIELD® COOLPRO-PUW works by keeping heat out entirely. It features an exceptionally low thermal conductance (0.05 W/m·K), combined with high solar reflectance (>90%), high thermal emittance (94%), and an Endothermic Effect that actively cools the surface.
This unique cooling process continues to insulate effectively—even as surface reflectance may reduce over time due to dust accumulation, aging, or darker topcoats—offering long-term energy efficiency and comfort.
 
Stops Minor Leaks
When applied directly, COOLPRO-PUW can seal minor substrate cracks and small holes, offering an additional layer of leak protection without the need for separate sealing materials.
 
Dirt Pickup Resistance
